Unremarkable budget optic let down by an unreliable mounting solution
The construction and feel of this optic feel very good, seemingly putting it in a much higher price bracket than it is. The analog controls are nice in an age of all rubber buttons. All 4 reticles are quite precise and crisp.

However, that's where my praise of this optic ends. The clarity of the optic is let down by its uneven lighting, which is very obvious on the dimmer settings. At the brighter settings, the reticle is clear but there is a lot of glare from the light source that causes the field of view to be partially obstructed by red glare.

To make matters worse, the sight seems to hold zero under the modest recoil of a 9mm carbine just fine, but I can't actually verify if the optic retains zero after remounting, because I find that after quick releasing the optic, the mount consistently seems to loosen, requiring the use of a tool to get the sight remounted securely.

In the end, if you are looking for an inexpensive optic that stays on the gun permanently, it's a great choice. If you need to remove your optic for storage or want a clear and consistently lit optic, this is not the choice for you.
